River Seti can be reached from Damouli roughly 160 kilometers (5 hours by tourist bus) west of Kathmandu. Rafters encounter several rapids before reaching Trishuli River. Hindu religious site Devghat marks the confluence of Kali Gandaki and Trishuli and becomes River Narayani. Rafters have a choice of either coming back to Kathmandu or continuing the journey to visit the Chitwan National Park. The humid and nice Seti River passes through stunning jungle view, green hills and valleys. It is an exceptional river for bird-watchers and those interested in the abundance of nature found on this trip. This normally gentle river has plenty of small and straightforward rapids. During the monsoon months the intensity of the rapids increases and attracts a radically different set of rafters.
