Bandipur

Bandipur is situated at 27.93 N, 84.42 E and an elevation of 1030m on a mountain saddle (Mahabharat range) about 700m above the Marsyangdi River Valley,

143 km to the west of Kathmandu and 80 km to the east of Pokhara. Since 1998 it is linked by a 8km access road from Dumre (Kathmandu-Pokhara highway).

Janakpur

Janakpur city is centre of the ancient Maithili culture with its own language and script. Janakpurdham also is the birthplace of Sita Devi, a Hindu goddess (also called Janaki), the heroin of the Ramayana epic and it is the site of her wedding with Rama, a Hindu god. The centre of Janakpurdham is dominated by the impressive Janaki Mandir to the north and west of the bazaar.

Yala Sambat 5020

Margh 1st – new year colebration of Kirati, Prayer of earth and nature, celebrate new year with the rember of their ancient king “Yalambar” . So, the title is called “Yala”.Yala called Yalamber.

In this day people boiled "Tarul (Root food)". According to the Bairage Kaila, Kirati used to take 43 types of species of root food. Among the cost of Kirati, Rai, Limbhu,, Sunuwar and Yakha had plays vital role to take legamate of their sambat. Rai says Yale Dong, Limbhu says Tanngbay and Sunuwar says Thochew for their new year.
